Well, Hello There!!

Pictures shows of me seeking God, Circa 2016

It is a bit overdue for me to formally introduce myself. I've always been one to make myself right at home but it its only polite to at least tell you my name. (lol) My name is Kerraneshia Roy but you have my blessing to call me Kerra. Texas will always be my home but I've been branching out to different cities connecting with some of the most amazing individuals. I am a mom, student/ entrepreneur and aspiring motivational speaker, in hopes to inspire as many people as I possibly can to step out and live a life of abundance, happiness and fulfillment while incorporating biblical principles/practices. I want to see people experience true joy while conquering odds and breaking generational curses. It not only takes God's grace and prayer but a balance of confidence, a sound mind and support to accomplish those desires in your heart. It also takes a community of like-minded individuals to learn from, which is what I hope to build here. I've found that the test of time has brought me to discover my niche as an Encourager. I went on a "find my purpose" frenzy and when coming up with only a synopsis of what I hoped to understand about myself; I consulted with God. As my journey unfolds, day by day he reveals my identity in him. As I seek him, he reveals the mysteries of heaven concerning me. How amazing is that? What better way to know your purpose than to consult with the manufacturer. So I've been working to create a safe place here where we can grow, learn, become inspired and attest to God's goodness. We are all deserving of the opportunity to live in purpose, according to God's will and sometimes getting to that place forces us to have faith in areas that need healing first. So how do we do that? How do we heal in order to become? {Stay tuned for tips and my learning experiences that intel how to "Heal While You Build"!}

By keen nature, I cheer for the underdog and oppressed because I've once fill those shoes.(BUT GOD!!) In the past I've struggle with depression and anxiety, and when those earthly emotions weren't around I'd struggle with condemnation or mediocrity. (Yes, those grand ideas God allows to pop up in your head from time to time, but you decide that it's not the right time, or that when things are better, you'd try to act on them, or even acting as though you didn't vividly see the idea because doing something that has never been done before off of the strength of an unction is foolish, right?) So I'm taking what worked for me to navigate through those things, what began to help me see the light at the end of the tunnel and share it with others seeking insight or hope.

If you were waiting on a sign, this is it.

I'm telling you now to strap up your boots (lol, just a little Texas humor) and prepare faithfully for what is to come your way. It's only a matter of time before the things you long for equally seek you out and it's so important you enjoy them as the best version of yourself. It's so important that your head be held high so that you can see them manifest and exhume the confidence to be able to say, "Yes I deserve it (whatever you long for)!It's me you're looking for!".

Until next time, Kerra.
